It converts real football pitch performance data into on-chain value, enabling users to open and close positions on player performance tokens across the top five European football leagues. FutballFi is not fantasy football. It is not prediction or betting. It is a performance-driven trading platform where the value of every position is determined entirely by what players do on the pitch, verified by live data from Stats Perform/Opta and delivered on-chain via Chainlink oracles. *** ### The Problem Football is the world's most-watched sport, yet the on-chain economy around it remains shallow, speculative, and disconnected from actual match performance. Existing platforms rely on collectible card models, fan tokens, or prediction mechanics that bear little relationship to what happens during a live match. There is no platform that directly converts real pitch performance into on-chain tradeable value, transparently and verifiably, in real time. *** ### The Solution FutballFi bridges the gap between the football pitch and the blockchain. Every gameweek, users select a squad of 11 players and open positions based on their expected performance. At the end of each gameweek, positions are settled using verified, oracle-delivered match data. Users can sell or swap positions at a profit or a loss, depending on how their selected players performed. The platform runs on three foundational pillars: **1. Real Data**\ Stats Perform/Opta supplies professional-grade match performance data across EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, and UEFA Champions League. **2. Verified On-Chain Settlement**\ Chainlink oracles deliver performance data directly to FutballFi smart contracts on Base, removing intermediaries and ensuring transparent, tamper-resistant settlement. **3. $FBF Utility Token**\ All platform activity is powered by $FBF, a fixed-supply ERC-20 utility token with a 500 million maximum supply. No additional tokens will ever be minted. *** ### How It Works #### Squad Selection Each gameweek, users select 11 players from the supported leagues. Formation rules apply: * 1 Goalkeeper (GK) * 2 Centre-Backs (CB) * 1 Left Back or Left Wing-Back (LB/LWB) * 1 Right Back or Right Wing-Back (RB/RWB) * 3 to 5 Midfielders (CM, CDM, AMF, CAM, RM, LM) * 1 Striker or Forward (ST/FWD) A maximum of 3 players may be selected from any single club. #### Position Opening Users open positions on their selected players using $FBF. Each player has a performance token reflecting their current market valuation based on recent form, fixtures, and on-chain trading activity. #### Live Performance Tracking Match data from Stats Perform/Opta is delivered on-chain via Chainlink oracles throughout the gameweek, updating position values in real time. #### Settlement and Trading At the end of each gameweek, users choose to sell or swap positions. Positions that performed well generate profit. Underperforming positions generate a loss.
